Flame of Recca still owns a little piece of my brain. I went through about a year-long period in which I was truly obsessed with this wild and crazy show filled with wild and crazy characters. And the series villain Kurei is still my favorite male anime/manga character of all time. But anyway, these aren't as bad as my pitiful Gundam Wing fics, but they're not good either. The highlight is probably the bizarre "Nocturnal Hours", which I still believe was a great concept, but I didn't have the skills to execute it properly back then. Maybe I'll try again with different characters? Anywho, I managed to track down the chapters for it (they had been deleted from ff.net and from my old geocities account) so enjoy!
