Meshie-san and I are flying. It’s weird. I’ve never been on a flying carpet before. It’s smooth like we’re sailing, but feels so thin like you could fall any second. Meshie-san says there’s no way you can fall off. The carpets’ been enchanted so that as soon as you step on and start to take off there’s a barrier that goes up to prevent you from falling. He says there has to be because take-offs and landings are the hardest parts about riding on a flying carpet.

I’m not sure where Meshie-san is taking me. The scenery is pretty though. So many trees, and there’s mountains too. From up here they look like toys. Like you could pick them up and put them in your pocket, take them out and play with them later, somewhere else.

I wish I could show this to Seeu-san and Bambi-chan. Bambi-chan might not appreciate it as much though. There were mountains and trees around her castle. Seeu-san has nothing though. His castle floats by it's self on a chunk of that destroyed planet. You'd think that the pieces would be bigger, but they're not. There's only room for the castle and gardens on that chunk. Meshie-san tells me the other pieces are smaller. That there's hardly enough space to walk on them, he says you can stand in the center piece, and see all the other pieces floating around you. And that sometimes they'll come so close that it seems like you have to duck to keep from being hit. Meshie-san says the only reason Seeu-san's castle is still there, is because of the protective veil that surrounded it. That’s been destroyed too though.

We’ve been flying a long time. I think it’s just because Meshie-san wants to tell me things, more than actually take me somewhere. He’s telling me about Gold and Kagami. About me. How I’m not supposed to exist. How Kagami isn’t supposed to be dead. And how Seeu-san is. He doesn’t tell me how Kagami died, or why he died in Seeu-san’s place. Just that, because of what Kagami did, Seeu-san can’t die.

Meshie-san wants me to live somewhere else. He says he’ll build me my own castle wherever I want. Even in the trees and mountains we passed today. I don’t want him to though. I just want to go back to what’s left of Asu and Seeu-san. Meshie-san thinks I’m crazy, and says I’m wasting my time. He calls Seeu-san a “broken man”. But if that’s what I want that’s where he’ll take me.

Meshie-san left me off outside the castle, he said to call him if I change my mind. Call him? How? There’re no phones, and even if there were I don’t know his number. Maybe I’m just supposed to stand in the garden and yell for him? Oh well. I don’t care. I’m not going to need to call him anyway. Besides. He says he’ll be back later because there’s something I have to do.

Seeu-san?

Where are you?

Jeeze. This place is such a mess. All that work we did for nothing.

Oh! There he is.

... What do I say now? I’m home doesn’t fit. I’ll tell him we should clean up. If we work hard enough, it’ll be like it was before.

Seeu-san.

Just.

Told.

Me.

Off.

Before I even said anything. *snerk* I’m sorry I really can’t help laughing. I just never expected him to do anything like that.

Seeu-san? I’m really glad my brother didn’t let you die. Maybe someday I’ll be able to say it out loud.
