1.) When did you start this site?
I worked on this site during the months of January and February of 2003. The site was officially up on March 1, 2003.
2.) WHY did you start this site?
It’s very simple. I love Seeu, particularly in volume three of the manga. At the time, I hadn’t seen any PL character shrines and thought Seeu, above all others, deserved one.
3.) How did you make this site?
Well, that’s a big question. I simply typed up a lot of info, scanned a lot of pictures, and uploaded it all with an ftp client. That’s about it.
4.) Where did you get the images used on this site?
I scanned them. With the exception of two pictures in the Seeu gallery and some fanart, all of them were scanned, edited, and sized by me.
5.) Can I use the images on this site?
Generally, I’d say yes. Feel free to use any images from the galleries (with the exception of the two I didn’t scan) for personal use, layouts, icons, wallpapers, etc. However, please do not take all of the pictures (or a good portion of them, which is to say, over four) for a gallery on your website.
6.) Where did you get the fanart?
I drew three of them and the others were submitted to me by other people.
7.) Can I use the fanart?
You can use mine, as long as you e-mail me to ask for permission and tell me what you’ll be using it for and give me credit. As for the other artists’ work, please contact them for permission.
8.) Where did you get the fanfics?
I personally asked for permission or they were submitted to me. There are more on fanfiction.net, but none of the writers I’ve contacted have written back.
9.) Can I use the fanfics?
You can use mine, as long as you e-mail me and give me credit. As for the others, they’re not mine to share. Please contact the authors for permission.
10.) Where did you get the lj icons/wallpapers?
My dear friend Nikki made some specifically for my site. Another friend, Anrui also submitted some, featuring her own artwork. I resized the customizable ones to fit the lj size limit. I made all three of the wallpapers by myself.
11.) Can I use the lj icons/wallpapers?
That’s what they’re there for. ^_^ But if you mean, to use them on your site, I must say no. Unlike with scanned images (which anyone with a scanner can do), not everyone can make wallpapers just like mine. Also, Nikki’s icons were made specifically for this site and Anrui's were made with her own art. Contact her if you'd like to use them on your site.
12.) Your layout sucks!
Um, okay. I never set out to make a fancy, graphic-intensive site. I just wanted to make a site that had a lot to offer.
13.) So, what pairing do you like involving Seeu?
Well… I support a SeeuxKagamixKaguya threesome. Yes, I know Kaguya and Kagami are siblings. But incest is fairly common in shoujo manga. No, I don’t think Seeu is “gay”, though I don’t think he’s exactly “straight” either. I think he just responds to whoever can get through his shell. I happen to believe that both Kagami and Kaguya are capable of this. I used to hate the idea of SeeuxTake (or vice versa), but I’ve grown to like it.
14.) Can I link you?
Sure! Check the links page for some buttons you can link me with. Or you can just use a text link. ^_^
15.) Will you link me?
Maybe. Send me your URL and I’ll see.
16.) Why do some of your scans have Japanese writing in them?
Because I was impatient and bought the Japanese release before it was released here.
17.) You have unmarked spoilers on ____ page! How could you?!
I’m sorry if I failed to mark every single spoiler (though I did make an attempt to mark really important stuff), but as a general rule, I don’t look at character shrines from a series if I haven’t already seen all that’s available of it so far. The reason for this is that character shrines are a bit more comprehensive, and go a bit deeper than general shrines. I always expect spoilers on character shrines.
18.) What happened to the Seeu fanclub?
For those few of you who were interested in it, I apologize. I took it down because it was a meaningless idea. I now run the approved Seeu fanlisting here! Go join!
19.) I sent you a PL link and you never added it! What gives?
I don’t feel the need to add every single PL site that I come across. However, I’m far more likely to add your link if you sign the guestbook and list it as the URL. My inbox is rather crowded and messages get lost very easily. Therefore, it’s very hard for me to go back through all those messages and dig up links. In the guestbook, it’s a very convenient place to look.
20.) How can I join the PL Livejournal community? Just what the heck is a livejournal anyway?
You can go to livejournal.com to find information on what a livejournal is. Basically though, it’s a blog-type service that allows you to link to other members and have a “friends page” where you can read all your friends’ entries in one place. It also allows you to choose what type of security you want on each entry. Very nice. Anyway, there are such things as communities, which are shared-access journals that many people can post to (if they join).
21.) Hey! You don't have profiles for all the characters, story summaries, or descriptions of the nine worlds! What gives?
Apparently, some people are under the impression that all fansites must have these things. But this is not a general fansite. This is a character fansite. My site focuses on Seeu, and the content reflects that. If you're looking for a resource site to use when writing fanfics or reviews or whatever, there are plenty in the links section. If you want to see Seeu images, fanworks, wallpapers, and icons, come here. ^_^
