Your art sucks! Why do you even bother?

I expect to get this one a lot. ^^; I'm well aware of the fact that my art is not that great. I'm also aware of the fact that I enjoy drawing, and have noticed some improvement from the older pictures to the new. My theory is that if I can keep improving, eventually I'll be a decent artist. ^_^

Who are all these characters?

As I said, all of the characters featured here so far are ones I've created myself. Some of them are from comics of mine (ones I've actually done and ones I've just thought about doing) or from stories I've written. If I ever put up fanart of characters from other things, I'll give it it's own section.

Where can I find the whole comics/stories that feature these characters?

The only comic I ever did a lot on was "The Holy Saints". I drew a complete first issue and around 17 pages of a second issue, plus a four page Valentine's Day mini-comic. Unfortunately, I did these quite a long time ago, and the art is pretty awful. I do plan to someday redraw them, when I've developed better skills. So at this point, you can't see any of my comic characters in action. However, you can find some of my story characters (like Archica, Robo Angel, Zombie Boy, and Jess) in the Original Stories section of my site.

How did you learn to draw?

I doubt anyone would actually ask this, but here's the answer: I taught myself. I started doodling X-Men and such when I was eight years old, and gradually moved onto drawing Sailor Moon and other anime characters. Eventually I discovered the fine art of creating my own characters, and had much more fun with that. What I can do, I learned by continuously drawing, despite people telling me that I suck.

Have you ever been to art school or taken an art class?

I took one semester of Art 1 during my senior year in High School. That's about it. We mostly studied the color wheel and made collages. >.>

Will you draw a picture for me?

No. I'm fairly certain that no one will want me to, but by the rare chance that they would, I would have to refuse. I'm not yet confident enough in my art that I would draw something specifically for someone. I used to do Harry Potter fanart requests a long time ago, but I quickly got tired of it.
